OverviewWe are currently investigating a myriad of topics involving schema evolution. Our primary goal is to investigate transparent schema change technology that allows for on-line modification of databases without disturbing existing applications. Other ongoing projects include looking at developing a framework for doing schema evolution more flexibily and doing optimization of a sequence of schema evolution operations.
