Raindrop Demo Readme

This package:

  This archive file contains the Raindrop Demo jar file, and all test data and supporting jar's that the demo needs to run.  
  
Installation:

  Unzip the file RaindropDemo.zip to a folder.
  
Usage:

  Starting the Demo and loading an XQuery

  1) Double click on RaindropDemo.jar to run the Demo.  
  2) Select the "XQuery Execution" radio
  3) Click on the "Set XQuery Files" button
  4) Click on the "User Query" button and navigate to the query you want to run. Click "Open"
  5) Click "Ok"
  6) Click "Run Demo"
  
  At this point you can see the query, and the respective graphs for the query and generated automata. Before you can view the Query Graph or Schema Graph you must load the schema file.  To do this:

  Loading the Schema
  
  1) Open the "Schema-based Optimization" Menu
  2) Select "Set Schema File"
  3) Navigate to the schema file you wish to load, select it and hit "Open"
  
  Executing the XQuery
  
  1) Load the xquery and schema files.
  2) Open the "Query Execution" menu
  3) Select "Set Stream Source"
  4) Navigate to the .token file, select it and hit "Open"
  
  The demo will execute the query and open the execution tab, showing the results.
