Particle Modelling Examples
The above images are showing what real cloth looks draped over a box and what the
particle method can model of a clothh draping over a box. As you can see there are
some differences between the generated images and the real images. One problem
that we can see is that the generated cloth is a lot more rounded, while the real
cloth has a lot sharper edges.
The images above show Wool and cotton in real images and in generated images. You can also
see from these images that there are some differences, but they do look realistic to a point.
The image above shows a piece of silk being lifted off of a teapot.
As you can see from this image, the silk has a very good representation.
It looks almost as if the silk were real.
This image was one created by Breen and his group. It was a demonstration
of their techniques. You can see that the tabecloth and the chair cover
are very realistic.
